A two-day Universal Pension Scheme fair has opened in Chuadanga under the theme “Participating in the universal pension scheme will secure your future life.” The event was organised by the National Pension Authority.
A colourful procession set off from in front of the Chuadanga District Commissioner’s office at 9:30am on Wednesday (June 24), passed along College Road and concluded at the open-air stage of the Chuadanga District Shilpakala Academy. National Pension Authority Executive Chairman Dr. Md. Suratu Zzaman formally inaugurated the two-day fair with a ribbon-cutting and balloon release.
A discussion meeting and cultural programme followed, conducted by Dr. Munshi Abu Saif, head of the Bangla department at Chuadanga Government College. The proceedings opened with recitations from the Quran and the Gita.
