Pori Moni is one of Dhallywood’s most talked-about actresses, a star who makes headlines more often for her life off screen than for her films. Recently an obscene video made with artificial intelligence, with her face placed on it, spread on social media and caused a stir.
The video was posted after the Instagram page of a private television channel was hacked. The channel later said it had been hacked and apologised. Pori Moni herself voiced her anger about it in a Facebook live.
Amid the continuing talk about that video, Pori Moni has now released a new video of her own, in a completely different guise.
In it she appears dressed as a goddess, in the spirit of Durga Puja. Her look has drawn wide interest among her fans.
Pori posted the 51-second video on her Facebook page around midday on Sunday (October 18), with the caption: “May the power of good prevail…”
Her festive message and her goddess look have caught her followers’ attention.
