Israeli media calls Trump the loser

U.S. President Donald Trump gained nothing in a possible deal between the United States and Iran but was instead completely defeated, Israeli media have claimed. Iran’s official news agency IRNA reported the claim on Monday (June 15) morning, citing the Al-Mayadeen network.

Israeli media outlets claim that Qatar bought off two Jews — Trump’s Middle East special envoy Steve Witkoff and Trump’s son-in-law Jared Kushner — for vast sums of money. As a result, these two influential American officials betrayed the brothers of the Israeli government, the outlets say. They also claim that Arab states, frightened by their own shadow, are now pushing for a ceasefire and want to give Iran billions of dollars to restore peace across the region.

Israeli television journalist Solomon Masudeh wrote on social media that the deal solved none of the problems — neither the nuclear nor the ballistic missile issue — and that, on the contrary, Iran has gained control of the Strait of Hormuz.

Israeli outlet Channel 14 reported that what Trump has done to them is so bad that it is hard to explain. Channel 24 said that while Trump gave Iran one concession after another, he is getting nothing in return.

Citing members of the Israeli parliament, the Knesset, they reported that the plot to separate the Lebanon issue from the Iran issue had failed. Meanwhile, Israeli outlet Channel Kan said Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu had failed to halt the momentum of Trump’s deal.

According to the Israeli media, the deal has handed Iran a major success comparable to an immediate ceasefire, which is why Israel will also have to halt the war in Lebanon without delay.
