However, no confirmed measles death occurred during this period.
During this period, 1,210 people were affected by measles and measles symptoms. The information comes from a measles update report released by the Directorate General of Health Services on Wednesday (June 3) afternoon.
The statement said 1,210 children were affected by suspected measles across the country in the past 24 hours.
From March 15 to May 30, the total number of suspected measles patients in the country reached 74,572.
Meanwhile, 55 confirmed measles patients were identified in the past 24 hours. The total number of confirmed measles patients has now risen to 9,191.
According to the Directorate General of Health Services, 60,158 people were admitted to hospital with suspected measles from March 15 to May 30.
During the same period, 55,142 people recovered and were discharged from hospital.
The statement said a total of 511 people have so far died of suspected measles. In addition, 90 people have died of confirmed measles so far.
