Information Adviser to the Prime Minister Dr Zayed Ur Rahman has said BNP will implement everything contained in the signed July charter, excluding the notes of dissent.
He made the remarks at a press conference marking the government’s 180th day, held Monday around 11:30 a.m. at the Prime Minister’s Office in Tejgaon, the capital.
He said other parties also had notes of dissent — had they come to power, they would have excluded them too. Similarly, BNP will implement the July charter while excluding the notes of dissent.
Those present at the event included BNP Standing Committee members Nazrul Islam Khan and Ismail Jabiullah, Information Minister Zahir Uddin Swapan, and State Minister for Local Government Mir Shahe Alam, among others. The event opened with welcome remarks from the prime minister’s press secretary, Saleh Shibli, and additional press secretary, Atikur Rahman Rumon.
