Abhijeet Dipke, a leader of the Cockroach Janta Party (CJP), has announced that he will take to the streets again to protest against Chief Election Commissioner Gyanesh Kumar.

He has stated plainly that he has signed no legal bond or undertaking of any kind to refrain from agitation or street protests in future.

The CJP’s movement in Delhi has recently been the centre of controversy. The party alleges that Delhi police and the administration have detained its leaders and workers unlawfully and imposed various restrictions on its programme. Its leaders have said flatly that these harsh steps and restrictions will not silence the CJP’s voice of protest.

In a message on the social media platform X, Abhijeet Dipke said neither he nor his party’s leadership had given the government any written promise not to protest. They will therefore be back on the streets very soon, he said, in the fight for their rights and to press their demands against the chief election commissioner.
