Sourav Das, a leader of the Cockroach Janta Party (CJP), has called on all the people of the country to join a peaceful movement. He made the call at a press conference on Sunday. He said an emergency-like situation had been created across India and that the state had declared war on its own citizens.

He accused the Modi government of using force against protesters and intimidating them, alleging that India’s central government was trying to silence citizens who wanted to exercise their democratic rights.

“They kept our phones for 24 hours. We fear they have hacked and cloned the phones and planted (false) evidence,” he said.

He told the press conference that police had abducted them from the aircraft on Saturday, solely to protect one man.

On the social media platform X he wrote: “Modi and Shah have turned Delhi into a fortress and in effect declared war on the citizens of their own country. In this situation one thing is clear: Gyanesh Kumar is one of the main props of this government’s survival.”
