Police have detained Neha Bora, president of the All India Students’ Association (AISA) and a spokeswoman for the Cockroach party. Neha Bora, Yogendra Yadav and Prashant Bhushan were detained while leading a march from Dilli Haat towards Jantar Mantar.

The protesters and others who were detained were put on a bus. When it reached the Safdarjung flyover, 20 to 30 students came in front of it and stopped it.

Neha Bora had earlier called for the protest to be moved to Dilli Haat. “Dilli Haat will now become our Jantar Mantar,” she had said.

Mamata Banerjee, former chief minister of West Bengal, has also been detained. She was holding a sit-in in front of her Delhi residence when Delhi police took her away.
