The deadline for sending in lists of outstanding teachers to mark World Teachers’ Day at madrasa institutions has been extended. Each upazila or thana must prepare a panel of three outstanding teachers and send the list by Monday.
The information came in a letter from the Directorate of Madrasah Education on Sunday (September 20), sent to all upazila and thana secondary education officers.
The letter said that with a view to honouring outstanding teachers on World Teachers’ Day on October 5, each upazila and thana had been instructed to prepare a panel of three outstanding teachers for each post to be filled, in each of the primary (madrasa), secondary (madrasa) and college (madrasa) categories, following the criteria approved by the steering committee, and to send the prepared list urgently to ada@dme.gov.bd by September 21.
