New instructions for HSC candidates in five subjects

The inter-education board examination controllers’ committee has issued urgent instructions for HSC and equivalent candidates in five subjects who could not sit the examinations on the scheduled day because of bad weather. Students wishing to take part in the re-examination must complete registration at their own examination centres by 29 July.

The instructions were given in a notice signed on Saturday, July 25, by the convener of the inter-education board examination controllers’ committee and controller of examinations of the Dhaka Education Board, Professor Jesmin Taslima Banu.

The notice said that candidates of all education boards other than the Chattogram Education Board who could not take part in the examinations held on 13 July because of bad weather will be able to register within the set time to take part in the re-examination. The instruction applies to candidates in physics first paper, accounting first paper, logic first paper, English second paper of the Bangladesh Madrasah Education Board, and office management of the Bangladesh Technical Education Board.

The inter-education board also said that after the candidates’ registration ends, the examination centres concerned must urgently send the information of registered students to the controller of examinations of the relevant education board by 30 July.

Describing the matter as extremely important, the notice instructed those concerned to complete the necessary steps within the set deadline.
