Won’t take special privileges before securing services for all

National Citizen Party (NCP) southern-region chief organizer and member of parliament Hasnat Abdullah has said the political struggle will continue until equal dignity and equal rights are established for all citizens of the country. He pledged that he would not personally accept any special privileges or become part of a “VIP culture” until all state services and facilities are ensured equally for ordinary people.

In a press release on Wednesday, the NCP UK Alliance said a lavish civic reception was held for Hasnat Abdullah on Sunday at the Maida Banqueting Hall in London’s Whitechapel area during his visit to the United Kingdom. He made the pledge there, the release said.
