Kona to sing in 16 US cities

The popular singer Dilshad Nahar Kona left for the United States on Tuesday, 21 July, for a concert tour. She crossed the seas without announcing when or where she would be singing, keeping it a secret. She revealed it on Saturday. Kona said the tour is being organised by Deshi Music Entertainment.

According to one source, Kona will sing in 16 cities of the United States. Among the cities where she will perform are Indiana, Michigan, Atlantic City, Los Angeles, Oklahoma City, Dallas, Houston, Chicago, Boston, Orlando, Washington DC, Miami, Atlanta, Abia, Arizona and New York. The concert tour begins on 25 July and ends on 3 October. She will perform in cities across the country for almost three months. It is one of the longest music tours by a singer from Bangladesh.

The singer announced the trip on social media, where Kona wrote: “Dear people of America, I am coming to your city. Let us enjoy some memorable moments together.”

Kona’s most recent song was released on 11 July on CMV’s YouTube channel — “Tomar Hote Chai.” The lyrics are by Robiul Islam Jibon and the tune and music by Sajib Das, who also sings the duet with Kona. It was used in Rafat Majumdar Rinku’s drama “Bhalobashar Golpo.”
