Kuwait’s electricity ministry says several power lines in the country have been knocked out after being damaged by shrapnel from an Iranian attack, according to Al Jazeera.

The ministry said in a statement that despite the damage, electricity supply was not disrupted. An emergency engineering team has already begun work to repair the damaged lines.

Meanwhile, Kuwait’s military said two ballistic missiles and 13 drones were detected in the country’s airspace early Thursday morning. All were successfully intercepted.

Authorities said no casualties or major damage have been reported from the incident.
