Indian celebrity couple Virat Kohli and Anushka Sharma have once again made a big real estate investment, buying a new flat worth about 18.29 crore rupees in a luxury development in Mumbai’s Versova area. (One crore is 10 million rupees; one lakh is 100,000.)
According to Indian media, the new flat measures 2,644 square feet. Located on an upper floor of a high-rise, it comes with an additional 316 square feet of usable space and dedicated parking for three cars.
In 2016, Kohli had booked a 7,171-square-foot luxury flat on the 35th floor of a seafront development in Mumbai’s Worli area for about 34 crore rupees. The booking for the four-bedroom flat was later cancelled, and the deal did not go through.
The new flat adds to a growing property portfolio. The couple already own several luxury homes and plots in Mumbai, Gurugram and Alibaug, and have invested in real estate for years.
Kohli, who grew up in west Delhi, also owns a roughly 10,000-square-foot luxury house in the DLF Phase 1 area of Gurugram. Located in one of the city’s most upscale neighborhoods, it is valued at about 80 crore rupees (around US$9 million) and has a private swimming pool, a modern gym and other amenities.
In January 2026, Kohli and Sharma bought more than five acres of land in Jirad village near Awas beach in Alibaug for about 37.86 crore rupees. Earlier, in 2022, they had bought about eight acres in Alibaug for 19 crore rupees and later built a luxury villa there, with a temperature-controlled swimming pool, a specially designed kitchen, four bathrooms, a jacuzzi, a large landscaped garden, covered parking and separate quarters for staff.
