President Donald Trump earned more than one billion dollars from cryptocurrency-related business transactions in 2025, according to his mandatory annual financial disclosure.

The 927-page disclosure showed $635 million in royalties from the Trump meme coin, which was launched days before he took office. However, the coin’s value has declined significantly since its launch.

Trump also reported more than $500 million in income from World Liberty Financial, a cryptocurrency venture founded by his sons and the children of his special envoy Steve Witkoff.

He reported additional income of several hundred thousand dollars from real estate businesses and various Trump-branded products. The White House denied that the president has profited financially from his position.

The latest disclosure showed significantly higher earnings than his 2024 report, in which he declared more than $600 million in income.

The White House has repeatedly emphasized that Trump has placed his businesses in a trust managed by his sons, meaning there is no conflict of interest.

White House Deputy Press Secretary Anna Kelly said the president is proudly building the United States into “the world’s crypto capital.” She added: “Neither the president nor his family has ever been involved in a conflict of interest — and never will be.”

Kelly also said all actions taken by President Trump and his administration are in the best interest of the American people, and that journalists claiming otherwise are repeating “old and false talking points from Democrats and legacy media.”

Trump himself has said he is not subject to federal conflict-of-interest laws, despite having previously called Bitcoin a “scam” and a risky asset.

The disclosure showed that Trump’s cryptocurrency income now exceeds his real estate income — the sector that originally made him famous. The Mar-a-Lago club earned approximately $77 million, and Trump National Doral Miami golf club earned $122 million. His golf clubs in Bedminster (New Jersey), Jupiter (Florida), and Turnberry (Scotland) each earned more than $30 million.

Trump also reported $4.7 million in royalties from Trump-branded watches, with additional income from sales of Trump-branded Bibles, shoes, perfume, and guitars.

First Lady Melania Trump reported $17 million from a documentary licensing deal released last year and $6 million from NFT sales.

Trump also disclosed $86.5 million in income from legal settlements, including $16 million from ABC, $16 million from CBS and CBS Interactive, $24.5 million from Meta, $22 million from YouTube, and $8 million from X.

The White House said most of the settlement money will go to Trump’s future presidential library or a nonprofit dedicated to maintaining parks in the Washington, DC area.

According to Forbes, Trump’s total net worth is now approximately $6 billion, up from $2.33 billion in 2024. The Bloomberg Billionaires Index puts the figure at $7.6 billion.

Since returning to the White House, Trump has adopted a crypto-friendly stance, even as his family’s associated ventures have issued digital tokens. He has appointed crypto-friendly individuals to key regulatory positions. SEC Chairman Paul Atkins, who took office in April 2025, has softened the agency’s approach from the stricter regulatory stance of his predecessor.

In July, Trump signed the Genius Act, aimed at establishing America as the “undisputed leader” in the digital asset market.

At more than 900 pages, Trump’s annual financial disclosure is far larger than those of his predecessors. Joe Biden’s final-year disclosure was just 11 pages.
