TEHRAN — Maj. Gen. Sayyed Majid Khademi, the head of the intelligence branch of Iran’s Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps, was killed in a U.S.-Israeli strike, the IRGC said.
In a statement, the IRGC said Khademi was killed at dawn Monday in what it called a “terrorist attack by the American-Zionist enemies.” No further details were released. Khademi had been appointed head of the IRGC’s intelligence branch in June 2025 after his predecessor, Gen. Mohammad Kazemi, was killed in an Israeli strike.
