At least three people have died of dengue in the country in the past 24 hours. During the same period, another 251 people were hospitalized.
The information came from a health directorate notice on Wednesday.
It said one death each was recorded in the past 24 hours in Barisal and Khulna divisions and in Dhaka North City Corporation.
This brings the total dengue death toll this year to 22. In addition, 7,557 people have been diagnosed with dengue, with 660 dengue patients currently receiving treatment at hospitals across the country.
