Technical education institutions have been told not to use Prime Minister Tarique Rahman’s photo at any government event. Action has been directed in line with a letter issued by the Cabinet Division. The Technical Education Board announced this in a notice on Sunday, sent to all heads of technical institutions.
According to the notice, the directive follows a 15 July letter from the Technical and Madrasah Education Division. It said that, regarding the Cabinet Division’s circular completely prohibiting the use of the prime minister’s photo (in 3D or any other form) on banners, festoons and billboards prepared for government events, further steps were being directed.
