A district model mosque has been inaugurated in the Jagannathpur area of Moulvibazar Sadar upazila. Moulvibazar-3 member of parliament M Nasser Rahman formally opened it at noon on Tuesday (July 7).
Chandpur-5 member of parliament Md. Muminul Haque was the guest of honor at the ceremony, which was presided over by Moulvibazar Deputy Commissioner Touhiduzzaman Pavel.
Special guests included Superintendent of Police Md. Monirul Islam, district council administrator Mizanur Rahman, district BNP member secretary Abdur Rahim Ripon, Public Works Department executive engineer Mohammad Faisal Rahman, district BNP convener Md. Faizul Karim Moyun, religious affairs ministry deputy secretary Mamun Al Faruk, and the model mosque project’s deputy project director Mohammad Ferdous-uz-Zaman.
