Results of the primary scholarship examination will be published tomorrow, Thursday. The Directorate of Primary Education has completed all preparations for the release. As previously scheduled, the Ministry of Primary and Mass Education will officially announce the results at around 10am that day.

A.S.M. Sirajuddoha, deputy director (establishment) of the administration wing at the Directorate of Primary Education, disclosed the information.

He said the ministry will officially announce the scholarship results at 10am on Thursday as previously scheduled, with all preparations for the day completed.

According to the Directorate of Primary Education, a total of 82,500 students will receive scholarships this year — 66,000 allocated for government primary school students and 16,500 for private school students. Proportionally, roughly one in eight participating students in government schools and about one in 5.5 in private schools will receive a scholarship.

Scholarships will be awarded in two categories: 33,000 under the talent pool (merit scholarship) and 49,500 under the general quota.

Under current rules, talent-pool recipients will receive Tk 300 a month, and general-quota recipients Tk 225 a month. Both categories will also receive a one-time annual grant of Tk 225. Students can avail this benefit for two years after passing class five.

After the results are published, students and guardians can check them online and via mobile SMS. Results will be published online on the IPEMIS portal. The method for checking results via SMS will be announced later.
