US President Donald Trump has issued a fresh, hard-edged warning over Iran. He said Iran took far too long to negotiate an agreement that could have been great for it — and must now pay the price. The US president gave no details of what that price would be.
He claimed Iran’s military is in complete disarray and that, like the country’s navy and air force, the force effectively no longer exists. Trump wrote the messages on Wednesday on his own platform, Truth Social. He added that they had been thoroughly defeated: Iran only talks, he said, and does not act — and its “thuggery” in the Middle East is finished.
