Egypt have announced their final World Cup squad with Mohamed Salah as captain. Coach Hossam Hassan included 18-year-old Abdel Karim as a surprise in the 26-man squad. Egypt’s attack also features Manchester City forward Omar Marmoush.
As their final warm-up before the World Cup proper, Egypt face a strong Brazil in Ohio on June 6. They then begin their World Cup campaign against European giants Belgium in Seattle on June 15. Their other two opponents in Group G are New Zealand and Iran.
