The Bangladesh Nationalist Party (BNP) has called a joint meeting ahead of its upcoming 48th founding anniversary.
The information was confirmed in a press release Tuesday, August 25, signed by BNP joint office secretary Md Munir Hossain.
The release said the meeting will be held at noon Wednesday, August 26, at BNP’s central office in Naya Paltan, in the capital. The party’s acting secretary general, Advocate Ruhul Kabir Rizvi, will chair the meeting.
The joint meeting has primarily been organized to determine the party’s plans ahead of its upcoming founding anniversary, the release said.
