Teachers describing themselves as anti-fascist have submitted a memorandum at Dhaka University seeking action against teachers of the Awami League-aligned Nil Dal. They submitted the memorandum to the university’s vice-chancellor, Professor Dr ABM Obaidul Islam, on Monday.
They also submitted a list of 231 Nil Dal teachers, drawn from departments and institutes across the university, ranging from lecturers to emeritus professors.
BD Global Times is not publishing the list of names. The memorandum is a demand for action by a group of teachers; no charges have been brought against those named.
