Educational institutions have decided to hold various events to mark July Uprising Day. Every institution must arrange essay, recitation and art competitions between 1 July and 5 August, along with discussion meetings highlighting the significance of the day.
The instruction came in a Directorate of Technical Education letter on Sunday (28 June), sent to the principals of all technical institutions.
The letter said an inter-ministerial meeting had been held on 3 May to mark July Uprising Day 2026. Its decisions included holding essay, recitation and art competitions and discussion meetings on the day’s significance at all institutions.
Institutions must hold the essay, recitation and art competitions, and the discussion meetings on the significance of July Uprising Day, at a convenient time between 1 July and 5 August 2026. Institutions under the Directorate of Technical Education were directed to take and properly implement activities to observe July Uprising Day 2026 and to inform the directorate accordingly.
