Top-level officials of Islami Bank have met Bangladesh Bank Governor Mostakur Rahman. The meeting began at the Bangladesh Bank head office at 4 p.m. on Sunday. Bangladesh Bank assistant spokesman Shahriar Siddiqui confirmed the information.
He said the courtesy meeting was arranged to brief the governor on Islami Bank’s current overall situation and the latest state of its business operations.
A high-level delegation from Islami Bank took part in the meeting. The delegation was led by the bank’s managing director (current charge). He was accompanied by two additional managing directors (AMDs) and six deputy managing directors (DMDs) of the bank.
He said the delegation would brief the governor on the bank’s current situation.
