Iranian forces carried out heavy strikes on several power stations and desalination plants in Kuwait on Monday for the fourth straight day, according to a Reuters live report on Tuesday, July 21.

Kuwait’s Ministry of Electricity, Water and Renewable Energy confirmed the strikes in a statement, saying they set fire to several facilities, though firefighters brought the blazes under control.

The ministry said work was under way to assess the damage and repair the affected facilities, but Kuwait did not immediately release details on casualties or service disruptions.

Tit-for-tat strikes between Iran and the United States have continued for a 10th night. In response to US attacks, Iran has been striking US bases and key installations in various Gulf countries.
