The NCP has called on citizens from all walks of life, including youth, cultural activists, professionals, and students, to join the ‘July Awakening’ program. The quota reform protests that began in 2024 evolved into a historic mass uprising, leading to the fall of the previous government on August 5. The June-July movement is widely known in the country as the ‘July Movement.’
