Educational institutions whose buildings can take rooftop solar panels have been told to measure the size of those roofs and send the information. They have been asked to submit it through a designated link within the next two working days.
The instruction came in an urgent letter from the Directorate of Secondary and Higher Education (DSHE) on Saturday. All regional directors of the directorate and the heads of all educational institutions have been informed.
The letter also asks all offices, agencies, institutions and establishments under the directorate to measure the roofs of their buildings that can take solar panels and send the information within the next two working days.
