SSC, equivalent re-scrutiny results Thursday

Results of SSC and equivalent exam answer-sheet re-scrutiny will be published Thursday (Sept. 10) morning.

Professor Syed Aktaruzzaman, chairman of the Dhaka Board of Intermediate and Secondary Education, confirmed the information.

Board sources said applications for re-scrutiny of SSC and equivalent exam results opened on Aug. 11 and closed on the night of Aug. 17. Within that window, 402,051 examinees across the country’s 11 education boards applied to have their answer sheets re-scrutinized.

Many applicants challenged answer sheets in more than one subject, bringing the total number of applications to 1,287,926. Of these, 1,056,455 were for written exams and 231,471 for practical exams. By board, the Dhaka Education Board received the most applications, with 94,236 examinees submitting 277,665 applications for written exams and 58,012 for practical exams.

The Cumilla board received more than 35,000 applications, Rajshahi more than 39,000, Jashore more than 28,000, Chattogram more than 39,000, Barishal more than 17,000, Sylhet more than 20,000, Dinajpur more than 37,000, and the Mymensingh board 27,676. Meanwhile, more than 40,000 examinees applied for re-scrutiny at the Madrasah Education Board and more than 20,000 at the Technical Education Board.
