The Directorate of Secondary and Higher Education (DSHE) has ordered all schools, colleges and related educational institutions to submit replies to outstanding audit objections, by fiscal year, within the next five working days.

It said that if replies are not submitted on time, the head of the institution concerned will be held responsible.

The instruction was given in a letter signed on Sunday by Mohammad Aktar Hossain, deputy director (general administration) of DSHE.

The letter says broadsheet replies must be prepared to outstanding audit objections for each fiscal year up to 2024-2025. The appendix of the objection, the necessary evidence and comments must be attached to each reply.

Under the instruction, three hard copies of the documents and a soft copy must be submitted. The soft copy must be prepared as a Word file in the Unicode Nikosh font and supplied on a pen drive.

The information and documents must be delivered by hand within five working days to room 201 on the second floor of the directorate. The letter says that if replies are not submitted within that time, the head of the institution will be held responsible.

The letter was sent for necessary action to the directors of all higher secondary teacher training institutes, principals of government colleges and teachers’ training colleges, deputy directors of secondary and higher education zones, district education officers, headteachers of government secondary schools and upazila and thana secondary education officers across the country.
