That Naznin Nahar Niha, a popular actor in television dramas, is in a relationship is old news. In June this year she posted a “relationship” status on social media saying she was with someone, though she did not make clear whether it was a romance, an engagement or a marriage.
Now, at Masjid al-Haram in Mecca, Saudi Arabia, Niha has hinted that she is married.
On Sunday (8 November) the actor shared two photos on Facebook. In one, a man stands with his arm around her in front of the holy Kaaba, both facing it; the photo was taken from behind. The other shows the two holding hands, with the Kaaba in the background.
Niha hinted at the marriage herself in her caption: “The chapter we had wanted to keep private all this time, we now want to share with everyone: the story of this beautiful journey. Alhamdulillah, endless thanks to Allah for the beautiful bond He has tied us in and for granting us the fortune of coming to His holy house together.”
Her message strongly suggests she has married. To be sure, a message was sent to Niha, but she had not replied by the time this report was published.
At the very end of the caption she wrote: “May this bond of ours always be full of Allah’s mercy and blessings.”
Followers have been sending the couple good wishes and love under the post. But whom has Niha started her new life with? She has not given his name or identity. There have long been rumours that she is in a relationship with a young Pakistani man, but the actor has stayed silent about her partner’s identity.
