Dengue infections and deaths are continuing across Bangladesh. Seven more people died of the disease in the past 24 hours, and 1,596 new patients were admitted to hospital over the same period.
According to the Directorate General of Health Services, 1,596 dengue patients were admitted to hospitals in the 24-hour period.
The figures were published in the directorate’s regular dengue situation report.
