The upazila health committee of Chaugachha in Jashore held a meeting on Thursday afternoon in the conference room of the upazila hospital.
Upazila health and family planning officer Dr Ahsanul Mizan Rumi chaired the meeting. Dr Mosleh Uddin Farid, member of parliament for Jashore-2 (Chaugachha-Jhikargachha), spoke as chief guest.
Those who spoke as special guests included assistant commissioner (land) GMA Munib; Maulana Golam Morshed, upazila ameer of Jamaat-e-Islami; Kazi Babul Hossain, officer-in-charge of Chaugachha police station; Dr Imdadul Haque; Master Kamal Ahmed Biswas, assistant secretary of the upazila Jamaat and a former panel mayor; resident medical officer Suraiya Parvin; and journalist MA Rahim.
