Bangladesh has raised the price of a 12-kilogram liquefied petroleum gas cylinder by Tk 223 to Tk 2,060.
The Bangladesh Energy Regulatory Commission announced the new LPG price on Monday, November 2. The new rate took effect after 8 p.m.
The commission also raised the price of autogas from Tk 84.62 to Tk 91.95 a litre. The price of autogas used in vehicles had been Tk 73.09 a litre in September. The commission also increased retailers’ commissions.
On October 4, the commission had raised the price of a 12-kilogram LPG cylinder by Tk 252 to Tk 1,837.
