Punjabi actress Isha Rikhi has expressed frustration over rumors surrounding her marriage and split with well-known rapper Badshah. In a statement on social media, she made clear that people should wait for her own comments before believing any news about her personal life.
Isha’s remarks came after the release of a promotional clip for “Bigg Boss 20,” in which an unidentified woman is seen speaking about love, betrayal and relationship experiences. This sparked strong speculation on social media that the woman might be Isha Rikhi.
Writing on her Instagram Story Saturday, Isha said she was “surprised” to see various kinds of news circulating about her marriage. She urged the media not to publish unverified information, and also called on the general public not to believe such reports.
The essence of Isha’s statement is that no information about her marriage or separation should be taken as true unless it comes directly from her or her official social media account.
Mystery around the ‘Bigg Boss 20’ promo
Just a day before Isha’s statement, a promo for “Bigg Boss 20” was released showing a woman with her face blurred. She is heard saying she had fallen in love, but her trust was broken in a certain relationship.
Following these remarks, a section of viewers speculated that the mystery woman was Isha Rikhi, since news of the end of Isha and Badshah’s relationship had recently come to light. However, neither Isha nor the makers of “Bigg Boss 20” have officially confirmed whether the woman in the promo is indeed Isha.
A marriage of just a few months
News of Badshah and Isha Rikhi’s relationship had been the subject of discussion for some time. They married in an intimate ceremony in March this year. The matter became public after Isha’s mother shared some wedding photos on social media.
However, just a few months after the wedding, news emerged that Badshah and Isha had separated. In early September, both announced the separation on their own Instagram Stories.
In his statement, Badshah said he and Isha had decided to go their separate ways with mutual respect. He also requested that no further speculation or assumptions be made about the personal matter, saying that would be their only statement on the subject.
Following this, fresh discussion began around the mystery woman in the “Bigg Boss 20” promo. Isha’s recent statement has only intensified that speculation.
Badshah was married once before
Before his relationship with Isha Rikhi, Badshah was married to Jasmine Masih. They married in 2012. Their daughter, Jesmi Grace Masih Singh, was born in January 2017.
Badshah and Jasmine separated in 2020, after which Jasmine moved to London with their daughter.
Meanwhile, the new season of “Bigg Boss 20” is set to begin on Sept. 6. Isha Rikhi’s name is already the subject of intense discussion regarding this reality show, hosted by Salman Khan. Other names that have emerged as contestants include Qazi Touqeer, Gullu, rapper Yung DSA, Mahi Vij, Khushi Dubey and Aman Gandhi, among others.
