Gunmen have killed 11 people and wounded three at a house late at night in the eastern South African province of KwaZulu-Natal. Among the dead was a pregnant woman.
According to local media reports, the shooting took place in KwaMakhutha township, south of Durban.
Ten people died at the scene and one more on the way to hospital.
People had gathered at a residential house in the township shortly before 11pm local time on Tuesday when unidentified attackers entered and opened fire.
Before fleeing, the attackers set fire to a car belonging to the owner of the house.
The motive for the deadly attack is not yet known, and no one has been arrested or identified as a suspect.
