Students who achieved GPA-5 in the 2026 SSC and equivalent examinations, along with recipients of primary education scholarships in the talent pool, were honoured in Raipur, Laxmipur. Students were presented awards at a ceremony organised by the upazila administration.
The ceremony was held at noon on Thursday (September 17) at the Raipur upazila parishad auditorium. Laxmipur-2 constituency MP Md Abul Khair Bhuiyan attended as chief guest, while Raipur upazila nirbahi officer (UNO) Mehedi Hasan Kawsar presided.
At the event, students who achieved GPA-5 in the 2026 SSC and equivalent examinations, and those who received primary-scholarship talent-pool awards, were honoured. The chief guest congratulated the achieving students and urged them to keep up their record of success, and to make good use of their talent and ability for the welfare of the country and society alongside pursuing strong results in higher education.
Political leaders, officials from various upazila administration departments, teachers, students and guardians attended the event.
