The upazila and municipal units of the BNP held a workers’ rally in Maheshpur, Jhenaidah, on Tuesday afternoon (September 22) at the Zila Parishad auditorium.
The rally was chaired by upazila BNP president Mohammad Mehedi Hasan Roni. Advocate MA Majid, president of the Jhenaidah district BNP and administrator of the Zila Parishad, spoke as chief guest.
Speaking as special guests were district BNP general secretary Zahiduzzaman Mona; Jhenaidah Sadar upazila BNP president Advocate Kamal Azad Pannu; district BNP organising secretary Sajedur Rahman Pappu; municipal BNP president Advocate Amirul Islam Khan Chunnu; and district BNP information and research secretary Dr Nannu Mia.
Municipal BNP general secretary Saiful Islam and other local BNP leaders also spoke.
The rally was moderated by Maheshpur upazila BNP general secretary Dabir Uddin Biswas. Leaders and activists from various levels of the upazila and municipal BNP attended.
