8 Muslim nations condemn Israeli push to displace Palestinians

Pakistan and seven other Muslim-majority countries have strongly condemned remarks by Israeli National Security Minister Itamar Ben-Gvir and Defense Minister Yisrael Katz regarding the forced displacement of Palestinians from the Gaza Strip.

The foreign ministers of Pakistan, Egypt, Turkey, Indonesia, Jordan, Qatar, Saudi Arabia and the United Arab Emirates firmly rejected and condemned any efforts or plans, under any pretext, to displace the Palestinian people, Pakistan’s Foreign Office said.

In a statement, the Foreign Office said these provocative remarks and proposals by Israeli ministers clearly violate fundamental principles of international law, particularly international humanitarian law, and pose a direct threat to the legitimate and inalienable rights of the Palestinian people.
