Talks with the United States to end the war cannot move forward unless Washington accepts seven conditions set by Iran, the speaker of Iran’s parliament, Mohammad Bagher Ghalibaf, has said.

Ghalibaf set out Iran’s position in a post on the social media platform X on Thursday.

He said progress in the ongoing talks with the United States requires acceptance of Iran’s seven conditions, and that the mediators have been told about them clearly more than once.

The speaker added that Tehran cannot be moved from its position by pressure or by inducements of any kind. Progress in the talks is possible only if the United States accepts Iran’s seven conditions, he said.
