US Democratic congresswoman Rashida Tlaib has strongly demanded an end to all forms of American support for Israel’s military operations in Gaza. She issued the call after reports emerged of an Israeli forces attack on a pre-primary education centre in Gaza.
Michigan Democratic representative Rashida Tlaib expressed her outrage in a post on social media platform X on Sunday. She wrote: “The genocide in Gaza is still ongoing. No ceasefire has ever actually held.”
Saying children are suffering the most from Israeli attacks, she wrote: “Children are being killed by American-made bombs. And many of those who survive will carry lifelong mental and psychological scars.”
Calling on the US administration, Tlaib said American government support for this horrific ethnic cleansing campaign should be stopped immediately. Her message was accompanied by a video showing the scene of an Israeli forces operation at a kindergarten in Gaza. The report noted that around 200 children were trapped inside the building during intense gunfire during the attack.
