The Kushtia district unit of the Bangladesh Nationalist Party (BNP) held a colorful rally, a celebratory procession and a discussion session to mark the party’s 48th founding anniversary.
The rally and procession began Tuesday afternoon from the local municipality grounds.
Earlier, at a discussion session marking the founding anniversary chaired by district BNP convener Kutub Uddin, speakers included former district BNP president Syed Mehedi Ahmed Rumi, district council administrator Principal Sohrab Uddin, MP Reza Ahmed Bachchu Molla, MP Farida Yeasmin, district BNP member secretary engineer Zakir Hossain Sarkar, and BNP leaders Kamal Hossain, Abdul Muyeed Bablu, and Zainal Abedin Murad Hossain, among others.
The colorful rally and procession later toured the city’s main roads before ending at Bara Bazar.
