Yemen’s brave people will certainly triumph by the will of Almighty Allah, Iran’s parliament speaker Mohammad Bagher Ghalibaf said, commenting on the Houthi victory.
He revived an old 2024 statement by former Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei, in which Khamenei had said the Houthis’ resistance would lead them to victory.
Separately, First Vice President Mohammad Reza Aref said the Iranian government is pleased with the Houthi victory. He said all countries in the region should free themselves from dependence on the United States and the West and unite under the banner of Islam.
