A bus carrying Dutch tourists crashed in eastern Switzerland, killing five people and injuring several others, police said Friday.
The crash occurred Thursday afternoon in the eastern canton of Graubünden, news agency AFP reported from Geneva.
A local police spokesperson told Swiss media Thursday that the bus struck a safety barrier, overturned, and then rolled down an embankment beside the road.
The Dutch Travel Agency Federation (ANVR) told AFP the bus belonged to tour operator Oad and was carrying 48 passengers, all Dutch nationals.
ANVR said the bus had departed the Netherlands on Monday and was travelling from Austria to Switzerland on a day trip when the crash occurred.
