Arhan Khan, son of Bollywood actor Arbaaz Khan and actress Malaika Arora, is set to make his film debut. The son of the former celebrity couple will be seen playing a lead role in an upcoming movie. Arhan is the nephew of Bollywood megastar Salman Khan.
Arhan Khan is a frequent presence at Bollywood parties, and it has now emerged that he is stepping into acting. Reports suggest he will make his debut as an action hero in his first film.
According to Indian media reports, the big-budget film will be directed by filmmaker Aniruddha Iyer, who previously directed “An Action Hero.” The screenplay for the upcoming film is currently in its final stages.
In an earlier media interview about launching his son in Bollywood, Arbaaz Khan said: “The script could be mine or someone else’s. Right now, everyone has their eyes on him.”
He added that there are many filmmakers in the country, all searching for new talent and fresh faces. He said if anyone has an offer for Arhan before he does, Arhan can consider it himself.
“It’s not that I won’t give him anything,” he said. “If I have something, sooner or later, I’ll definitely offer it to him, and I’ll let him decide what he wants to do.”
Arhan Khan recently started a podcast called “Dum Biryani,” which he hosted along with his friends Dev and Arush, with their families also taking part.
In 1996, Arhan’s father and Salman Khan’s brother, actor Arbaaz Khan, made his Bollywood debut with the film “Daraar.” He has appeared in films including “Phir Bhi Dil Hai Hindustani,” “Maa Tujhhe Salaam,” “Yeh Mohabbatein,” “Soch” and “Kuchh Naa Kaho.” As a director, he also helmed Salman Khan’s “Dabangg 2.”
