Prime Minister Tarique Rahman and his wife, Zubaida Rahman, have attended a dinner given by the United States president, Donald Trump, and the first lady, Melania Trump, in honour of world leaders.
The dinner was held on Tuesday night local time at the Lotte New York Palace hotel in New York, in honour of world leaders attending the session of the United Nations General Assembly.
Heads of state and government of UN member states and their spouses attended.
Earlier that morning, the United Nations secretary general, Antonio Guterres, gave a breakfast in honour of heads of state and government, which Prime Minister Tarique Rahman and Zubaida Rahman also attended.
