Dengue is spreading at an alarming rate in the country. Three more people died from Aedes mosquito-borne dengue in the past 24 hours. During the same period, 1,097 new patients were hospitalized.
According to the latest data from the Directorate General of Health Services, the number of dengue deaths this year has risen to 93. Of these, 39 died in August alone.
