Six more people died of dengue across Bangladesh in the 24 hours to Saturday, and 1,898 new patients were admitted to hospital in the same period. That brings this year’s dengue death toll since January to 376, and the total number of cases to 121,699.
The figures were given in the regular dengue bulletin issued by the Directorate General of Health Services on Saturday.
Last year, 102,861 people were admitted to hospital with dengue across the country and 413 died. In 2024, 101,214 were infected and 575 died.
