The admission test for first-year undergraduate programs at the country’s agriculture cluster universities for the 2026-27 academic year will be held on Jan. 2. This year’s admission process will be led by Sher-e-Bangla Agricultural University (SAU).
The information comes from sources at the Agriculture Cluster Admission Test Committee.
Sources said Sher-e-Bangla Agricultural University will be responsible for organizing and coordinating the agriculture cluster admission test smoothly. Coordination among the participating universities is underway regarding the test date and subsequent activities.
Detailed information on eligibility, the application process, number of seats, exam timing and test centers will be announced later by the admission test committee.
Sher-e-Bangla Agricultural University Vice-Chancellor Professor Dr. Md. Abdul Latif said the university would give the highest priority to ensuring the agriculture cluster admission test is conducted fairly, transparently and smoothly. He said all necessary preparations would be made so that candidates could sit for the exam without disruption and in a favorable environment.
Under the agriculture cluster system, students are admitted jointly to the country’s agriculture and agriculture-related higher education institutions. As a result, a large number of students from across the country take part in this admission test every year.
